What is a fair price for a MinnKota 80lb Maxxum bow mount, a few years old but serviced last year?

Hijacking your thread. Big rains here in N. Texas has brought Lake Ray Hubbard up quite a bit. Now only 2 feet below full pool. Moving in your favor.

Tex

I got one for sale....its at Neeleys shop.

I am thinking $500 but not sure I could ship it (TN).

Well, they normally run about $1k new, depending on whether it's a 42" or 52" shaft (52"s are a bit more expensive by about $40).

Cabelas has them on sale right now for $900 / $940 (42" / 52"), plus about $65 in taxes and their $20 shipping rate to me.

If the trolling motor is in very good to excellent condition - both mechanically and cosmetically, I normally ask a little more than half of retail price (with taxes) for a used motor with a few years on it. Before the sale, I probably would have been asking about $550 to $600 for a good one. Right now, I'd probably be looking at about $475 to $500.

Shipping UPS residence to residence is fairly expensive on such a heavy and large box. If you can ship business to business or even residence to business, the price of shipping is usually cheaper.

All the best,

Glenn

Mine will be cheaper than yours Teri....but then mine is well used :) and longer :)
