Hi Tox,



I am coming up to ANNA Sunday (Sturgeon Creek Marina). Any tips for stripers this time of year? I want to try and catch a few in between BASS fishing.

Drag a 6 inch Cotton Cordell redfin in either blue/chrome (1st choice) or black/chrome in the deeper sections of Rose Valley, the splits, the mouth of Contrary Creek, and around Jetts Island. You can always throw Sassy Shads and topwaters if you can find the schools busting on the surface. Watch for the birds and drop the TM a good ways out from them. You can always look for Jim Hemby's pontoon rigged for 20+ rods and fish behind him!!:lol:
