Hey Toxic what is Chantilly ? . By the way I was wondering did you replace your battery charger yet ? I

TM,

Chantilly is the "Northern Virginia" bass show, I thought you posted sometime back that you might drop down for it. Still running the same charger, a lot of things are up in the air as far as whether or not I am going to order another boat soon (a new 929), as long as I am getting charged, I'm gonna live with it. Let me know when you firm up Gunpowder. I might just buy a Maryland permit for that. I just think it would be too cool for us to run our boats side by side down a lake and have a pic taken of it being that they are "sisters".

Huumm, you gonna sell the old one first Tox? May have to talk to the wife if you plan on that. Especially now that you have invested all the elbow grease in the making it look purdy :)

Carlos

PS Where is Gunpowder at? That name gets my attention for sure!! Good karma I hope....

Carlos,

Believe me, I'd give you the best deal I possibly could. I already know that I'm going to discout it below my cost because I will have to move her fast in order to get the new one ordered. I have to wait until after the shows to decide on if I want a State Team spot. My partner just jumped to the National Team and I am on the fence about a couple of issues. The dealer I use is requiring a lot more participation (towing boats to shows, manning booths, etc.) than before. That stretches me thin because if I am asked to work a booth for HawgCaller, SPRO, Norman, etc., they don't like you to split your time (too much). Plus, I have to do our booth, seminars and on and on.....

The Gunpowder is in Maryland In its 53-mile run from the Pennsylvania border southeast to the Chesapeake Bay, the Gunpowder flows through northern Baltimore County and passes through 12,000-acre Gunpowder State Park and 8,000 acres of wetlands, and extensive forests. The Gunpowder serves people in other ways as well. At two points on its journey to the Bay, the river is slowed and held in reservoirs. Prettyboy Reservoir to the north, and the more southerly Loch Raven Reservoir provide Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents with most of their drinking water.

The middle Gunpowder stretches between Prettyboy and Loch Raven. Here anglers can find some of the best trout fishing in Maryland. The reservoirs themselves provide boaters, fishermen and birdwatchers with recreation.

How's that for a little quick research??

Hey Tox...

You work with Spro!??!

Thier baits are hard to find here in KY, and I can never find the newer ones.

TM, let me know, I'll try to make it. Maybe even bring Carlos with me...or someone who uses something other than a junebug worm!! LOL (He's gonna kill me for that, at least I didn't say it was a ZOOM worm).

simnitro, yeah, I'm sponsored by SPRO/Gamakatsu. Just got the 2003 catalog.

TOXIC

OUCH!! He's right, he gave me one and didn't even make me grovel (much). Carlos, I've got a bucketload of HawgCaller stuff and the 2003 stuff on the way. Do you want me to save anything for you? BTW, that spinnerbait that HawgCaller makes especially for Teddy (stained river spinner)sold out at the Richmond show. He will have some more at Chantilly, I'll pigeonhole one away for you. A tournament fisherman in the back of the room during one of the seminars said.."I cashed a big check with one of those spinnerbaits" and the group mobbed the booth. LOL They do work. Especially in the river.

Huumm Tox,

Do bears live in the woods? I am always to updating my goto lure!!!! Any help will be appreciated as I get tired at tiem of just FISHING the river and not catching int he river. Still kicks my butt at times. Any good stuff that I can add to the ol tacklebox is also always welcome, especially if a pro reccomends it ;-)

Carlos

They do have stuff on the site, I just like the catalogs better.

Funny thing about the "online stores" they mention, none offers the complete line, and I can speak to 3 of the 4 Ky stores they list... they dont carry _any_ spro merchandise...

Gonna have to hit you up on the HawgCaller Spinnerbait too... My best spinnerbait fish have come off of the HawgCallers! They were my goto spinnerbait till this last year, had several fall apart on the cast and 1 that got mangled when i hit a tree trunk with it on a cast... perhaps just a bad batch. Only other reason I quit using them is the only place I can get them is Walmart... little tired of spending my $$ there...Will probably change my mind.

Sim,

I agree with you on the Walmart deal..I try and support the small places around, but that are not even close by and it is a hike to get to the places.
