Anybody have a connection to get me a couple of Goodyear Marathons? 215 75 R14's? I just checked my trailer and I have one that is in bad shape. Looks like the balancing lead came off the rim and it has taken a beating. I'll buy 2 tires if sombody has a connection.

Uncle Wally had the best deal when I bought mine a couple of months ago. Around $54 each for 13". They replaced one on the road hazard warranty when it was less than a couple weeks old. So far so good.

TOX,

I have two "spares" that have plenty of life left in them. If you want them, I'll give them to you. They are not new, but they should have plenty of life left in them. Give me a shout at home if you want them - [email protected]

All the best,

Glenn

Toxic - I think KB has two and a spare on his new rig. If you want we can drive down one night and put the trailer up on blocks and take the tires. You pay for the gas though! LOL

Old, but very good advice from at least two tire dealers: Keep calling until you find a dealer you can drive the trailer to (without going into debt for gas) and buy them there. You get the value of the price ahead of time, they mount them for free, you can ask that they balance them befoe they put them on (unless you have a balancing machine) and face to face, they will remember the nice guy they did business with.

That's exactally what I did at Wal-Mart. I ordered them on a Friday and they called me the following Tuesday and told me the tires were in. I drove the boat up to the Wal-Mart, a little over a mile from my house, and looked around in the fishing tackle dept for about 1/2 an hour while they mounted & balanced them. The even used a torque wrench to tighten the lugs nuts and then another guy came around and made sure the lugs were torqued to the proper specs. They had the low price $54 + 7 or 8 bucks apiece for mounting, lifetime balance, and road hazard protection. The road hazard warranty came in handy the very first time I drove on them when I backed the boat back in the driveway I backed over the metal chock I had left laying in my driveway. It caught the tire right in the sidewall resulting in what I believe is called a catastrophic rapid deflation. Wal-Mart replaced the tire without even pointing and giggling...no charge at all.

The only whimper I had was they inflated the new tires to only 35#psi. Those guys just aren't used to putting 50#'s in a 13" tire, so watch that.

I'm really not pushing Wal-Mart because I own stock in them or because I'm some sort of Wallyword geek, but they really did have the best deal going.

Hay Toxic I have 4 used tires in good shape from what I can see I got a new trailer a year or so ago and the old one is just sitting there cant ditch it cause the title is tied up in my loan.

you are more than welcom to the if you leave your old ones so i can take it to the junk yard latter if the rims are the same you can just swap them both out if you like. You can have them for free if ya come and get them.
