I mentioned in the "Good Mornin'" section that I needed new tires because of sidewall cracks in mine. I called the Tracker Parts Dept. of my BPS a little bit ago and was told I couldn't just buy the tires because they only sold wheels AND tires? And they wouldn't have my size for two to three weeks. Maybe I'm stupid but I don't understand not being able to buy just the tires.

Bill, go to a tire specialty shop like Discount Tire and get them...will probably need to have them special ordered but they can get them.

I got trailer radials at Discount and they are still going strong...they've already outlasted the bias tires that came on the trailer and they're not showing any wear!

Bill,

I'm guessing they don't just sell the tires because they do not have the equipment to remove & install the new tires on the rims. Many trailer / marine places do not sell just the tires for this reason.

Like suggested any quality tire shop can get you tires for your rig & should mount & balance them also.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured. I wanted the raised white letters Tracker tires but It's not to be I guess. I think I'd rather have radials anyway.

The Carlisle Radials that I bought last year are awesome compared with the bias ply Tracker Tires. I highly recommend them.

Northern tool and Equipment, sells trailer tires/wheels/assemblies, etc. Not sure if you have one close, or alternately could order them.

Bill, make sure you buy the 6ply tires, they cost more but last longer. I got my tires for my trailstar trailer at discount tires with warranty and all. Best investment I ever made on the trailer. good luck dude.

Bill,

Go fishing more, that way they wear out before they dry rot :)
