Awesome picture Curtis! Yep...hard to think about the white stuff now when temps are mid 90's, but it will be here before you know it!! Sometimes you just have to take moment..take in a big breathe of fresh air and realize that beauty surrounds us everyday of our lives, yet we are to busy to see it!!
I usually take a pic like that, tape it to the inside of my boat windshield and sit in it in my father-in-law's barn in Feb, making boat noises. Then Jamey and I pull it into the driveway and pitch into coffee cans for bragging rights. Some might say that I have a fishing problem.
I went fishing night before last, but without the boat.. Went wade fishing in Elkhorn creek in Frankfort, KY... Only caught 4 smallies (3 @ 6-7", one about 12") but it was a lot of fun. Few things are more relaxing than being all alone, with only the sound of the cool water rushing across your feet, watching the sun go down as you cast a topwater into a shallow pool below some riffles...
You know, Bear..... Usually, when I see that there have been no new replies to a post, I don't go back and re-read it..... But I've come back to this one so many times.....
It isn't often that someone expresses the wonderful emotions that we can feel - if we allow ourselves to - of being out with those that we love and care about..... You have done it in many posts!
Thank you, Sir, for sharing the warmth of your heart with us!
me!
