Just wanted to let you guys hear some good news about Mercury Marine and a great service dealer. I thought the power tilt and trim was bad in my new Mercury engine. I called Mercury and told them the motor was drifting down after it was trimmed out. They said it sounded like an internal hydraulic leak but can be repaired under warranty. They cautioned me however to make sure the dealer knew how to do that type of work. I took the boat to the best dealer in the area, Performance Marine. He examined the problem and said that the unit was too messed up to repair and should be replaced. After quite a few phone calls he finally convinced Mercury to replace the entire T n T unit. My hat's off to Performance Marine (my new service dealer) and Mercury Marine.
