Speedometer issue

I have a 2000 nitro 700lx,I bought it used this year. Its my first boat I ever owned, So far I love it. I noticed the speedometer stopped working. Is this a fuse issue or could this be an electrical problem?? Any suggestions appreciated.

The speedo pickup could be clogged. I don't know where it's at but from what I've read, your problem sounds like this could be the issue.

JOE YOUR SPEEDO PICKUP IS ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR MOTORS FOOT IN THE VERY FRONT.YOULL SEE IT ITS JUST BIG ENOUGH TO PUT A NAIL IN .ITS A VERY COMMEN PROBLEM.
