Hey, in my last post I stated that I caught a "tripletail", but I should have said I "think" I caught a triple tail. Here's what I can say...

About 8 inches long. General body shape of a crappie, but much, much fatter in the belly. Dark brown all over. Somewhat pointed snout, with two short needle like teeth, right in front, 2 on the top, and 2 on the bottom. Caught it right in the rocks at Indian river inlet, with a sand flea........

Any ideas?????

I have been searching for a book on freshwater fish species, with pictures for identification purposes. You never know when you'll hook something unfamiliar to you, it would be nice to have in the glove box in my opinion...anyone have a clue as to where to get something like that? I've tried the obvious like sporting good stores, Barnes & Noble, BPS, Cabela's, etc.....
