Well I was of course very excited to receive my sospenders (2) But instead of taking them out of the package and reading the instructions I just threw them uner the seat compartment of my 170 TC .Being somewhat ignorent (ok maybe a lot ignorent)I didn't understand exactly how they worked. So imagine if you will my surprise when I look out to my drive-way to look at my boat (as I do about every 1/2 hour)to make sure its still there and I see my seat pushed up in the air . At first I thought someone must of ramsacked my boat in the past 1/2 hour,so I bolt for the door look at the seat at first not knowing what I was looking at and then it hit me! auto inflate. It seems that during one of are recent rain storms some water leaked in to the boat I had the cover of to let it dry and forgot all about the sospenders.a lesson that will cost the 16.95 for the co2 refill.I had to cut the bag open to get them out so I could deflate them. The good news they work !

Mark, Check the small pocket inside the vest flap. Mine came with an extra co2 cartirdge.

Thanks Sam I just did and sure enough there is one . I didn't even realize that pocket was there.I feel better already.

Unfortunately...you need to replace the auto-inflate bobbin... So get out the ol BPS catalog and order one...Mine blew up in the back of my truck when the strategic opening in the tail gate was invaded by water at the car wash...LOL you're not alone!!!

Forgot about the bobbin. Definately would need one of those. I should order a rearming kit also. Thanks for the reminder.
