All of my running lights are out. Turn signals and brake lights work fine. Any suggestions? I cleaned the connections at the hitch, jiggled it, etc, and no help.

Thanks,

Paul

Did you check your fuse on your vehicle? test light at the plug?

I just had a similar problem. Take your running lights off and clean up the ground where it sits against the trailer. The running lights on my trailer self ground and it was corroded enough that it would not ground.

Is it a 7 pin round connector on the truck? Often 1 of the pins get pushed in, and causes similiar issues. Almost all of my lighting issues, have been on the truck side.

Please allow me to Hillyback on ths thread. Am I correct in assuming that my 80-in wide trailer marker lights [center rear trailer] are on the same circuit as my side marker lights? Am I also correct in concluding that if the side marker lights work, but the center marker lights don't, that my center light bar needs replacing?

I have the round connector with a 5 pin trailer side plug. The round truck side has 6 tabs and a round plug in the middle. They all look fine. All of the running lights don't work ... the ones on the tail and yellow ones on the side. Is there a separate fuse typically on the truck side for just running lights? How do you test a light at the plug?

Thanks!
