Rod Storage

I'm considering having rod storage/holders put in my rod lockers for my 882. I believe I read somewhere on this board that they were not very high in quality and were not that useful.



Please let me know of your experiences with the Nitro rod holders for the rod lockers.

You don't have to use the standard stock rodholders that you can get through your dealer/factory. There are plenty of aftermarket rodholders available. Many of these are similar in design; however, you can probably fit more rods in the box without the use of these. I am still using the stock rodholders that came with my 901, but I know plenty of guys who have taken them out and now use the Stors-it rod covers to prevent rods from tangling/damaging. You still may have to dig for a particular rod, but you will be able to carry more rods in the box without the use of a rodholder.
