hey guys, I am trying to set up a pay pal acct for expenses for the rally. Are you familiar with the format? Their legal statement in wordy at best. How much comes from the funds transferred? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Or would it be better to have people send checks or money orders for registering? I'm a little new at this, so I want the easiest system for me, Pierre, and all participants! thanks guys!

paypal charges the fee to the account when it is deposited.im not sure of the precentage off hand.on $3.50,they charged me $.40.you can opt to deposit it in your checking/bank account,get a check sent to you,but that costs a little change.you will probally have to set up as a buisness account,since the free one is only good for $100/month i think,but there is no fees on that one.

When did they start charging? It has been a few years sence i have used them but was told that they just made intrest off of the money that was in all the accounts.No charge then.Mayce it has changed.

Paypal does charge a transaction fees, a few points I think, debited to the recipient of the money.



Personally, I don't think it's worth the trouble. There is plenty of time to send in a check, and late arrivals should be able to register at the rally for an additional fee.

I don't think anybody used Pay Pal last year. All Eight of us sent checks. I know I sent Chris a check,

Sounds good to me. I'd rather use ALL the funds sent for food and trophies and prizes, etc. Pierre do you agree? We have enough time for people to send checks. Plus that way, we know who is coming for sure, and it helps us to plan accordingly. Please put either your or my address on the site for the rally. Mine is 2 Valley Drive, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
