Rich...a little history...

While returning a post to Scott earlier I got to thinking. Who were the first ten people to post on this board ? Did they stick around ??

Pierre, I couldn't tell ya. We started out with a different message board system, hosted by Beseen.com, and they have since stopped publishing the board, so I can't look it up.

Hey Pierre, I was around close to the start. About a month or so after the web site was created. Scott was already here and a few others that you will see from time to time. I was using the handle JOSTASU back then. I think I was coming here before Rich made the members lest.





I still feel like I'm at home when I come to this site. Great group of people here. Rich has done an incredible job and I can't thank him enough.

I remember those days, i guess I wasn't too much after that. For awhile there was only a few of us here....but look at it!! i agree with you I can't thank Rich enough for this site. I wonder where I go if it were not here.

Rob - Jim sold his Nitro last year, he's driving I believe a 89 Bass Hawk with a completely Livelyized GT150 (I think it was the GT150) that will SCOOT something fearce!



Since he sold his Nitro, he still hangs around BFHP though mostly on the Politic's board. He does frequent another GA operated site www.bassfishingnetwork.com, open topics quiet a bit. Another great "freindly" site.



Based on my profile I joined 4/30/2000 10:12:26 AM, Though if I remember correctly I started posting as a non-member around late January after i'd order but not picked up my Tracker.



I was also suprized at Buzz's check of the MOST posts! Wasen't surprized at Scotts, but MAN Rob - that many posts!!

I think I've been here only about 1/3 of the time the site has existed, but I know that Ken, Scott, Rob, Mac, TrepMan, Mini, Rich Stern, John, Pierre and a bunch of others were the "veterans" when I did join. I'm not sure when Rob joined, but he certainly is the most prolific writer of the bunch. He has a lot to say.



I tend to think I have something to say. Problem is not much of it is worth anything! :^)



(I just joined in on this in an attempt to catch up with some of you old timers! Yeah, scratch one more post!)

So there you have it. Rob has a 2 day head start...I think I can catch him....LOL



I think Rich needs a new stat "Most consecutive days posting".

Well...I looked...I've been "here" almost two years...First post 11/11/2000 (Veterans Day...One day after THE BIRTHDAY OF THE USMC) and a member since 9/27/01... Those two years have been "interesting" and "fun-filled"...Emphasis on the fun...
