Replacing carpet

I am replacing the carpet in 1994 nitro 190TF.The lids are currently real tight. I want to put 20oz carpet back in it but I am afraid it might be to thick. Does anybody know if this boat came with 16 or 20 oz.

Tony, go to www.bassboatcarpet.com, they have alot of tips on installing carpet and the little tricks they use to get 20oz on the boats. If you use hair clippers, you can shave down the carpet in the areas of concern and get the proper fit.
