Can anyone suggest a replacement trailer other than a trailstar trailer for this boat?

I have recently purchased a boat that obviously was used in the salt and the trailer basically fell apart on the way home. I was lucky to get the boat home in one piece !!!!

I was not at all satisfied with the trailer only being 5 seasons old and being held together by paint...I know that it should have been hosed down by the previous owner but two of the three "Main" supports snapped on the way home...

Thanks in advance

Woody

I had to replace my trailer for my Avalanche last year. I got a Shore Land'r. Im happy with it so far, but I wish I had waited for a Trailstar from Tracker, but that would have taken 4 to 6 weeks so I opted for the Shore Land'r, it took only 2 days.

I'd suggest staying with hte trailer that is made for the boat. You are the new owner and can take care of it properly. If salt water is an issue, get galvanized.

Woody - the new Trailstar trailers (I think from 2005 on) are ALL galvashield trailers, which are galvanized and coated and painted. So if you get a new trailer for your boat, you'll be all set whether you ever put it back in saltwater or not!!

As to "I was not at all satisfied with the trailer only being 5 seasons old and being held together by paint" if it was not a galvanized trailer, ANY brand will fall apart in 5 years of saltwater use.
