I read the thread a ways back on checking your top cap screws under the rub rail and thought....yeah, when I've got nothing better to do...well, I got my boat back from my partner today and was cleaning it up (I could just throttle him!!) when I noticed a strange "bulge" in the rub rail. Pulled it down and low and behold, a top cap screw was out about 2 inches.....So, I pulled the rail and 99% of the screws were out at least 3 turns some more. Got out the silicone and every one that was loose got a coat and put back in snug. I was noticing a little vibration now and then, I'll bet that is why. Suprized I didn't get gel cracks from the flex. So, check em', I'll bet you have some loose ones!!

Checked mine today while waxing. They were surprisingly loose...most needed a turn or two. Thanks for the reminder!
