D David Jordan Well-Known Member Joined Aug 4, 2001 Messages 294 Reaction score 0 May 8, 2002 #1 you need a standard volt meter, check that power is applied to the 2 terminals when you throw the switch. without power, you should have a reading of 500 to 2k ohms across the relay coil. with power on, the output should go from an open to a short.do you have a 4 or 5 pin relay?
