Wife and I went fishing this past weekend, most of Saturday was spent in the rain, and we had more rain after returning home on Sunday.

Even though we kept the storage compartments closed during the rains, I noticed today that I had to remove all of my tackle becuase the carpet on the floor was completely soaked. (enough to go "slosh" if you put weight on it).

Anyone got a solution for this? This affects the right hand rod locker, the front middle compartment (this one doesnt surprise me since the seat pedastal hole is there), and the front right compartment.

Thanks!

The only solution I know of is a cover or garage. The storage edges are raised, but the rain will puddle up, and get in before too long. Mine gets it the worst in the rod lockers right in front of the consoles, which block the water flow back and down into the boat floor....................sa

Cna't garage it or cover it while fishing from it!!!!!

And I hate to cover it up "wet", which sometimes means another day or two uncovered in the driveway... (no room in the garage for it)

Thanks!

All of my compartments get wet too. I have been thinking about what I can do to solve this problem as well.

I have looked at other bass boats, my cousins Stratos in particular, and it has a system similar to a livewells. In other words when you open up the lid there is an "edge" that protrudes inward and upward and is sealed with rubber. The rubber part actually touches the inside of the lid. I really don't know how to explain it :)

I haven't really spent any time on planning what I could do with my boat. If I come up with anything I'll take pictures and post it in the Grab Bag.

Anyone else?

now that I had not thought of...

I have those locks, will have to try that!

Thanks!
