I have a 2009 150hp Optimax. Model No. 1-150D73HY Serial NO. 1D706942. I took it out today and could not get over 3200RPM at WOT. When it would try to get more The warning beeper would go off. It has 5 to 8 psi on the pressure guage. It had good water flow on the pee hole. Had full tank of oil and full load of gas. The bulb on the fuel line was good and hard. Could not pump it any. The engine felt like it had a miss when trying to get it to go. Any help would be welcomed.

I would recommend to have the fuel {89psi +/-2} / air pressures {79+/-2} checked. It sounds suspiciously like a low pressure fuel pump. HINT...if the top of the pump is HOT where the outlet is....the pump is toast. BTW....I would re-check your serial number...I believe it would be a "G" instead of a "D".....in either scenario, the number doesn't come up in the data base.
