Well it finally happened and I picked up my Z8 today. replacing my 901. Started the personalization of it. Has a 998 in the dash and am installing a 898 on the bow got a 10 foot ethernet cable. It was 3 foot to short. other things on the list put in the y cable and shoot thru puck on the 998 along with the wethersense and extra temp sensor for the live well. Will also be putting in a bubbler system in the livewells also. Need to hook up the gps puck to the smartcraft system, install a third battery, Put the registration letters on it, and test drive. :D Guess I also need to change my name can't be 2007nitro901 anymore.

Thats awesome. grats. Let us know how it is as I am planning on purchasing the Z8 next spring myself. Good luck

Tonight I hooked up the duel beam puck and the aux. temp. It will end up in the starboard live well. cool thing was the split cable for the two transducers was installed at the factory. Nice little touch. spent 20 minutes under the dash making the wires look neat. put in 15 wire ties just under the dash looking clean and neat now. :) just is not enough day light when you get home at 630 pm. oh well slowly but surely. What is another few days. I also admired it for a few minutes. I just can't wait.

Congrats...looks like a possible profile name change????

Well Today I put in the bubbler in the live well as well as the temp sensor in the live well. Put in the weather sense and almost got the dual beam in ran it to the back of the boat. Will take out the trolling batteries tommorrow to put in the transducer. So close just can't wait to get it on the water. I need to put in a toggle switch for the bubbler having a hard time deciding where to drill a hole for the toggle switch. have a few things left to do.
