proper 2 cycle oil

just purchased a avalanche with a 2005 115 elpto . how do i know what kind of oil is presently in the oil tank ? which brand is the best ? how much would a tank full of gas use ?

The wrong oil could wipe out any warrenty. Check manule or call mfgr. If it's a Merc. it's probably Quicksilver
