Hey everyone i got another question. I just bought a 2000 nitro nx 750. Its got a 125 elpto. Its got a lazer 2 prop with a 26 pitch. Thats too much right? I love that prop but if i had in in a lower pitch maybe.

That is the correct prop for that combination. It is IMPERATIVE that if you are a "hot-rod" and like to run it around at wide-open-throttle, that the max rpm be kept to no more than 5250. The prop IS the governor.......;)

I agree with Bob, having had a 700lx 115 ELPTO and ran a 26p Turbo 3 blade and a 25p Turbo 3 blade, the real question is as Bob said "what is your RPMs at WOT"? I liked the 25 better then the 26 for my boat, top speed was exactly the same 53-55mph depending on conditions, but the 25 gave me a little better hole shot. A lower pitch prop (Assuming you are close to the MAX RPMs already at WOT) would give you a better hole shot but your RPMs would go up.

Post the WOT RPMs and how your hole shot is, and see where you are... Trep

Thanks guys thats awsesome that 26 would be ok. Ok my rpms i dont know the tach is messed up so im gonna have to replace it. Another question he had a atwood? Stabilizer on . The shape was weird looking to me it looks like letter m and its a 2 piece. It didnt want to corner good or anything so that could be from that hydrofoil. Is that 3 blade lazer 2 prop a good prop?

Yes, that is a good prop....for top end, and rpm control. There are much better options for different applications.....

different then prop question but the steering is rack and pinion but its really tight. i pretty much have to use 2 hands to steer. is this normal?

Remove the end of the cable from the link arm, and be sure the motor swings FREELY to port and starboard. If so, the problem lies within the tube it slides through {corrosion} or the inner cable itself. Both issues require motor removal to take the cable out. Try first {with wd-40}, to clean the cable itself where it slides in-and-out of the motor. Sometimes the build up makes things a little harder to turn. ;)

hey bob i took the nut off the end and loosend up the other side. i cleaned what i could with a towel and wd-40. still does the same thing.
