Pro V 185 JET Engine Problem

I threw a rod and need a new power head. I was wondering if there any good used ones out there and if there is any performance mods that i should consider while apart. I also have done nothing to the jet drive are there any things I show do to the jet drive while apart.

There is a hole in the Block. Is it worth buy a block and crank and rods or just buy a reman engine, also can i go higher horse power?
