I am looking at a 1993 Nitro 170dc Rick Cunn Edition. It has a 115 hp tracker pro motor. Only 70 or less hrs. 2 livewells, 2 fish finders, 35lb motorguide trolling motor and ski accessories. The asking price is $7000. Any comments on the price and the boat in general will be greatly appricated and will help with my decision. Thanks.

Too much money for a nine year old boat. At that price, you are in the 1997 ballpark for a 700LXDC.

My gut feeling: $4,000 to $4,500.

Forget the "hours" thing....... It's still a 9 year old boat; designs have improved significantly.

Now, I am NOT saying that it isn't an Excellent boat - it's just way over-priced.

me!

I agree with these guys that does sound a little high on the price. I wouldn't care if it was show room new, still a little high for a 9 year old boat. Scott said it best "designs have improved significantly". And if you can hold out, the right boat will come along. I've been there, my last boat took me over 3 months to find. And the boat I have now, took 5 months to find a dealer that I wanted to hand over my hard earned bank too. Good Luck!

Mornin, I just found this website this morning and was looking thru the messages. I also live in CA and bought that exact model in 1997 for 8900 so the price should have come down more than that since then. They are right about the trolling motor the 35lb in the CA delta was lousy and sometimes would end up going backwards because of the current so switched to a Minn Kota 74lb. Anyway its been a Great boat, but again seems to high even to me....jack
