Prayers Please

Guys & Gals, my Brother-in-Law, my big sisters husband, passed away last night (Sat.) about 9:30 p.m. He had Pancreatic Cancer and had gone through some very tough and painful surgeries and was lately taking Chemotherapy and doing well according to all of the Doctor's. He was retired after working for the same company for 46 years and now had a small consignment store on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to keep busy. Friday evening a Doctor came to their house to check them out before renewing their insurance. Everything checked out ok and he even had an EKG done. Saturday morning he went to his store and worked all day. He came home about 7:00 p.m., ate dinner and went and laid down on the couch to watch TV. He passed right there. My sister tried to wake him and couldn't so she called her neighbor who is a registered nurse. It's like the end of an era for me. I have known him since I was ten years old so that makes it about 48 years. I worked with him and played with him. He was one of the hardest headed people who ever walked the Earth but if you needed something he was there to help. Whatever, I am going to miss him very much and I would appreciate it if everyone would say a small prayer for Richard A. (Sonny) Jones and his wife, Barbara Lee Barham Jones. I am also very sorry this is so long but I didn't know what to cut out and it has helped me a lot to write this.

Hey Y'all, I really don't know what to say to you. I went to my Sister's house earlier today and told her about NTOWS and another site I visit frequently. I showed her the outpouring of prayers and best wishes from here and me she read everyone more than once. After another cry she asked me to extend her thank yous to each and every one of you. Her Granddaughter and my Grand-niece and Goddaughter didn't understand who all of you were and how I knew you. I told her it was my family away from home. A family that fights, cries, laughs and loves just like the family she knows and they all wished for her "Gee-Dad" (Gee, rhymes with she) to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and not be in any more pain or hurt any more. And though she may miss her GeeDad, he is in a better place and they will surely meet again.

Thanks you all.. You've helped all of us more than you know..
