Here's the overall view. Note that the straps are also supported in the center with a tie from the dome lights. If I hadn't done this, the straps would have hung way too far down. In my Cherokee, 7' rods, like the one on the right, must be carried diagonally.

For the rear strap mounting, I just wrapped it around the moulding that surrounds the headliner.



The instructions say to use the strap with the velcro loops for the handle end - I did it the other way around.

The rod carrier looks great. I was wondering about the 7' rods but you answered that. Now what about the stuff behind the rear seat?

On the front, I used the supplied screws to mount the eyes and hooks to the moldings.



In case anyone missed the previous post, the straps are "Vehicle Rod Carriers" by Rod Saver. BPS catalog P.81E. Item #15-394-338-00 for $15.99.

Bear, you ain't seen nuthin'..... I didn't show all the s*** piled INFRONT of the rear seat!
