i'm headed to oneida lake the middle of next week. i've only fished it once, last year. it was a very windy day. i only caught a few fish. i could'nt get to the spots the map showed or the spots that looked to me.i'm looking more for bass than walleye. but either will make a great day of fishing. i will be there for at least 2 days,depending on the wind. i'm taking a friend who i would like to put on some good smallmouth.the map doesn't say much about august. any suggestions about areas or tactics or any other info would be greatly appreciated.i personally like largemouth but my friend wants to catch some smallmouth. we are launching out of briggs bay. thanks stan.
