Wanted to let you know that I got the lettering. Let me run through the application omne time and you can tell me if it is right.



1. Spray the surface of the boat with a 10 to 1 mix of soapy water.



2. Peel the adhesive side of the backing off (the side that would stick to the boat)



3. Apply letters to wet boat, squegee out any air bubbles and spray the other backing paper (now covering up the letters)



4. Peel and let dry.



Is that right?

You got it. Just make sure when you peel the backing off that you have it on top, much easier to peel the backing off the letters than to try & peel the letters off the backing.

Thanks again....They look great!! A little hard to get off of the backing (after they are on the boat) the backing wanted to pull them off with it. With the slick surface on the baot (soaped) it sure made it easier to align them once off. My big problem was that I have three ridges on the boat that the letters have to go over....took some time but I got it done. Thanks also for the extra set, you never know when a dock is going to munch them!!

BTW Due to the budget cuts in VA there is more then a 60 day wait for the registration papers for the boat. They sent me temp stickers until December..and that after I sent then all that cash in taxes!!!!

Let me know when you get back and by then the River will be smokin for fishing!!!!!
