Nitro Z6

Hey everyone, I've posted to the forums before regarding the X5 and had some great reviews/info. I will be in the market soon, and noticed that Nitro has evidently scrapped the X line and converted the 17'11" hull from the X5/4 to a Z6 now? I wanted to see if anyone has seen this boat on the water or had any experience with it. I'd love to have the full feature list of the Z7/8 but my garage storage prohibits it. I fish mainly small waters and or low traffic areas, so the shorter boat/115hp may be sufficient.



Any thoughts?

check out www.724outdoors.com and click on the classifieds. there is a couple Z6 certificates for sale. The certificate is the route I took with my z7 and was able to savea few thousand and order the boat the way I wanted it.

Interesting, thanks for the information. Do you still take delivery from a local dealer or is it a private seller who won or bought the certificate?

the only part of the z-6 that is similar to the x-4 or 5 is the cap.

the hull and by that i meen the part that sits in the water and determins proformance

is in the z-boat tradition with the same type of flare to ride high and dry on.

where as the x-series had very littel if any strakesor lift built into its hull.

the Z-6 hull is a true Z-series.

Is the new Z6 hull the same as the old Z6 hull sold thru 08?



I would assume (read hope) they updated it in 2009 & 2010 when it was absent from the Z lineup.

the certificates are won in tournaments. you just purchase it from a private seller and take it in to a dealer and order up. Not sure if they all are, but mine was updgradeable where I just had to pay the difference for all the options I wanted to add.
