Well, the Ram is gone and I'm taking delivery of my new Trail Blazer tonight....I'lle be visiting the associated board, but any feedback here on this vehicle ?

Pierre

A Trail Blazer!! You've finally been reformed!!

I've never had a Trail Blazer, but have had a couple of the other Blazers. One 4 wheel drive and one 2 wheel. They both were good tow vehicles and handled my boats ok. Gas mileage was nothing to brag about, best case around 18 to 19, but that was partly the way I drive. Ride was a little rougher than my pickup due to shorter wheel base. I'm not aware of any major issues with the Trail Blazer and the new engine is supposed to have tons of grunt...

I just got confirmation in today's mail that I got picked for a company driven TrailBlazer,...it'll be available in Sept. It just went into service,...mgr's and above drive them for 3mos. then employees can buy/lease them for substantial discounts when they come out of service,...price is based on the vehicles mileage at that time).....It's majestic red w/pewter trim and it has the summit pkg....SWEEEEEET!!! It'll match my current boat perfectly,...but it'll look horrible with next years boat!! ARRGH....decisions...decisions...would rather have an all Pewter truck......that'll go with any color boat!! Don't know if I'll reject this truck and go for a different color or hang on to it......i have a week to decide!!

Ford's look good with any boat... (actually it's really any boat that looks good witha ford!) it's like a grey suit... fit's in anywhere...lol

You will love it. My 2003 Trail Blazer pulls my Targa with no problems whatsover...so far

If your short (legged) it'll probably be just fine. I find my Silverado a little cramped on leg (foot) space compared to my last truck (F150), but haven't sat in the new Blazer to compare. I have the 5.3 and love the engine and trany. It gets pretty good milage for as much power as it has. 17 city, up to 22 on the road - not towing of course. Now if I could just get the tailgate down. Guess Detroit stll could use some quality control lessons.

Pierre, I have an '03 and absolutley love it! We had a few small glitches at first but everything is OK now. You will love the power it has. I only have a PT 17 but you can't tell its back there when towing. I need to be careful at night because I cant see it and forget about it untill I start breaking. Thats another point the breaks are great to. I had a Ranger (yes a Ford) and the breaks were fantastic, my next truck an S10 couldn't even come close. Most chevys at the time breaked the same way and I thought I would never get a Chevy that breaked as good as a Ford. But the TB has 4 wheel break rotors and wil stop on a dime. I love mine..not problems yet...hope this helps.

oh yeah what color and trim package?? I got the Silver Metallic Green, haven't seen but one like it on the road.

i have an '02 trailblazer ls model. first thing is, there isn't a fraction of the activity on the trailblazer website as there is here on the nitro/tracker website. my tb has been good. i have had it almost 1 year. i have had a problem with the local dealer here not performing warranty repairs correctly. thus, i have had it in the shop several times for re-fixes. nothing major has gone wrong...knock on wood....it pulls my 2000 nx882sc without a problem running in 3, not overdrive.

i have added a temp/compass rear view mirror as well as lighted running boards to mine. july 4th weekend will be my one year anniv. have 17000 miles on it.
