We had our monthly meeting of my local bass club last night. We had another new member join. While I don't have all the good details, I did find out that he has a 929 that he runs. So now the club has at least 1 Nitro that will be showing up on Tourney days.

I have encouraged him to re-visit our site (has been here before but I don't think he is a 'member').

Tex

Hope to welcome him to the board.

The only down side of that is everybody else in your club will be fishing for 2nd place now. It's common knowledge that you catch more fish out of a Nitro.LOL KENNY

One must remember that when "Tin Wins"... We must be humble and not rub it in their stinking glass faces... Ooops, sorry... LOL

Hey a win for Tin is a win for Tracker who OWNS Nitro!!

Go get'em Tex!!!

I'm a watchin you Greg Meyer. Don't make me rally the Glass Boys (and girls). You're a gettin' awful bold!! Rob is already down to the silkies and the dancin' is just around the corner!!

TOXIC

Tox, I feel a tow to SC coming on with our stinkin glass to spank the daylights outta dem dar tin fellas! LOL We'll have a limit in the boat while they're still back there trying to break 40 mph! LOL

I've got a better Idea, Rob you come to my house and we will meet them 1/2 way. Anybody game for a Buggs Island shootout? Tin vs Glass? They'll chicken out Rob because everybody knows that the Tin Man didn't have a heart!!

Tin may be in.....

But Tin can't win..

Because to boat the Big Bass..

You've got to plant your @ss in Glass!!

TOXIC

So, let me get this correct. Since I was in a glass boat on Saturday (that broke down), in the rear seat, fishing used/seconde hand water . . .

My two fish (6.35 and 3.6 pounders) to the Glass Owners ZERO wasn't a spanking??? Oh - don't want to forget, both fish came within 40 minutes of us starting to fish.

Tex

His heart is with Tin....

Say Boys and Girls.... We gotta get a "footage" report from Scott for the Rally Tally...

If its a total footage of the fish caught, don't ask Scott!

(or me either!)

Man, I'd love to add 18'-2" to the tin total. I'll keep prayin'.

Tox--

Be careful...I know from experience that Greg is devious and creative (A bad combo). Just tell him what he needs to hear to believe that tin is best....then we can all live safely knowing he is wrong!

BTW...Greg has never taken me out in his ship but has taken a ride in the sparkley 882....weird???

It's gonna take a 3 to 1 tin to glass ratio to keep the total number to toads relative! LOL See, you guys shoot holes in your own theories! Marke was a devoted TV-18 owner, THEN he fishes with me in glass. WHAT happened next you ask???? Well dontcha know, Marke wanted a 901....and they don't make those in tin fellas! Now sure he is accessorizing his TV-18, but you can put all the perfume on a pig you want....it's still a pig! LOL It will never evolve into a glass boat! Sure it does the job, but then, so does a moto scooter. But real men run 1200 or 1300 cc Harley's with straight pipes and teardrop tanks! A Mazda pickup (I hate to even use those words together in a sentence) can "haul"....well a couch, or A chair, or A bike, but a real man's truck, say a Dodge ram 1500 or F-250, or Chevy Silverado HD can haul the couch AND the chair AND the bike and look stylin doin it! And oh yeah, never bat an eye at hills with all the HP. The underlying thesis is.......there is a proper tool to do the job and tin is good for the little "around the house" chores like fishing ponds and catching 2 lbers. But when you want industrial strength, stump pulling, 5th wheel hauling bassboat performance for us full growed folk, GLASS fits the bill! LOL durn fever, mess wid me eh?

Where Rob comes from couches and chairs outside might not be that unusual. I think they call that Porch

Rob, don't forget to spread a little honey on what you write. As soon as the Avalanche is refined a bit more, and they come out with a twenty footer, how long will it be before you end up eating your own words?

Pig is right. It's best eaten honey-roasted, by the way. LOL!

With only 57 days until the rally.....

8 Tin Boats for 141 1/2'

7 Glass Boats for 134 1/2'

A virtual tie!

P.S.

I will attempt to remain neutral by not telling Corey that Greg has also been out in my sparkley boat.....

P.P.S.

Rob is sounding more like the Village People every day.....

"Macho! Macho, man! He wants to be a Macho man!"

I did not have fishing relations with that sparkley boat!!!!
