Is it safe to let the motor hang trimed all the way down to keep drained or should it stay supported by the transem saver for the winter.

thanks

Trim it all the way down.. so all water drains out and u have no chance of freezing water in the lower unit..

You could place a block of wood under it to relieve any stress on your hyd cylinder while it's in the hanging down position.

Did you change the lower unit lube to insure there's no water in there (possibility of freezing) before storing?

Yes and always keep spare washers and an extra qt. of LU oil just in case;)

Today looks like some decent weather (no wind or rain) so I'm also going to fog the cylinders this year. Didn't do it last year
