I too added a meter, HOWEVER lol I'm not sure how many hours were on it prior to that, but they were only break in hours so I'm not concerned being 10 or so hours off. I could just leave the key on for 10 hours lol. I guess a mechanic
I put one on my 150 optimax and had bass pro put the computer on it and tell me how many hours the motor had on it. It showed 30hrs on the computer so I just add that to the new meter when I look at it.
If I have 8 months out of the year to fish and my boat is 10 years old and let's just say I average 10 hours a month on the engine...Holy Schnikies, my motor might have 800 hours on it
I thought about the average and the Oct/Nov timeframe does slow down for me but,the off set is my many Dale Hollow trips and some pretty long runs. That 90 is like the "energizer bunny"
