At the launching post I got to thinking about my most painfull trip to a lake. This was a trip to Lake Conowingo almost 30 years ago. I took my Dads 14ft wards seaking boat and trailer and headed for the lake. 3/4 of the way there I had a tire failure on the trailer, so I put on the spare and headed down the road. A couple of miles later I had a bearing failure and the wheel and hub went there own way. After asking permission I left the boat and trailer in a yard and went back to get my car trailer to pick them up. We loaded the boat and trailer on the car trailer and went to the ramp. Unloaded the boat by hand and went fishing.. I don't remember if we caught anything or not but I do remember what lack of maint cost.
