OK, Texas Transplant and I have committed to Saturday October 5th. Have not picked the ramp yet, but it's a good midway point between Atlanta and Tex's home in NC.

SOOO, anyone plan to join us? As we've said in the past, this is JUST a fishing get together no prizes.

Tex and/or I will post a note in a week or so on what ramp we'll launch from. We're looking now at going up Friday afternoon and fishing all day Saturday. I've got to be home Saturday night, so figure launch zero dark 30, fish till Noon, meet back for lunch at the ramp and then fish the afternoon. If we get enough folks we can swap boats/partners afterlunch.

Any takers???

No restrictions for Saturday for me. May even stay over and fish Sunday morning.

Probable ramp is the Hwy 72 ramp near Elberton, GA - Calhoun Falls, SC. Good access to all the main lake channels, and the lower lake.

I'll be towing the big ol' Walleye Boat over for the weekend. Targa 18.

Trep,

I was going to come down and check out your mini rally until I read that there was no prizes!! I hope you guys/gals have a good time and catch some fish!

Please post a map to the launch when it is determined. I may try and be there, as long as I don't have to work.

TrepMan, I will let you know at the end of the month, If I can make the trip from NC. I sure would like to fish with everyone.

Scott G. -

Wylie has one ramp that has been opened up, but I wouldn't launch there myself. The lake is pretty low, and has some dangerous places (ie - will mess up your lower unit in a heartbeat!).

Duke Power, still has all the other ramps closed. I stopped by and looked at one last Sunday. Not me! Can't bypass the Duke ramps anyway, they have dropped in the large concrete highway separators.
