Maxxum on 640LX

Hi all,



I have purchased a Minn Kota Maxxum 55lb 12v Trolling motor. I want to upgrade the wiring and circuit breaker to support this.

Questions



1. What gauge wire should i run and should i use wire tha are used to wire in Car subwoofers? (The really fine wire stuff)



2. What amp circuit breaker should i purchase

Answer to #1- NO & # 2- 50 amp breaker :wacko:

#8 thwn minuim I installed # 6 wire size, type thwn You can buy at Home Depot
