Here are a few photos of me during racing school.

This one is how your locker looked every morning.

This is me suited up to drive the IROC. We all had to wear the Hans device.

This is me climbing out of the IROC. It was actually harder than it looks on TV.

Hope you enjoyed the photos....I am out of library space.

WOW is all I can say Teri!! So, did more folks then not smoke? And did everyone smoke Marlboro??

Hm-m-m-m-m.....

Is it just me or.....

Does Teri look a bit like Lyn St. James?

Fun ... it reminds me of when I took the Jim Russell British School of Motor Racing at Mont-Tremblant circuit somewhere in the `80s.

So, did you get to keep the "outfit"? You can terrorize the neighbors... suit up and climb in the SUV...LOL

Top speed was about 140 in the IROC's. The instructors took us for a ride at about 160. The G's were pretty amazing. They said we were feeling about 2 G's where the IRL cars can feel about 5 G's on the fast tracks. I couldn't imagine that.

Everyone there smoked except for my dad and I. That's the only way to get in the school...smoke lots of Marlboros.
