Markers

I think it was on this site that that there was info. on making markers out of fun noodles (the long foam floats that kids play with in the pool.) They were made with a nail punched through them and that's about all I remember. Any ideas?

I don't think I paid all that much for mine, wouldn't it be just as easy to buy them????
