I have not seen to much info on the Avalanche, any word on how they perform, any problems on the way they are built, do you think they will replace the TV18 ??

Great boat, fishes extremely good, handles and rides like glass, looks like glass, handles rough water fine., Brother owns one, I and I have a 901, in four footers he almost stayed with and got just a little wetter than I did at lake barkely. excellent boat in my opinion, he had a factor paint flaw and tracker fixed it but have heard no other complaints.

Dink, there you go again makin the case for glass....looks like, rides like, handles like....GLASS. Nope, not gonna let this thread turn into another one of theose Tin vs. Glass debates...........I just haven't found any compelling reason to go with one. they are not much more affordable, not any better in rough water, paint to scratch and mar if you run shallow........all reasons I thought most went with tin. Love the platform and I think it has a future but I'm stickin to the sparkly boats. And remember "dem bassus luvs sparkles" pulled that one out of the archives!! LOL

Hi Ed, I'm into my second year with mine and to this point the only major problem I had was the trolling motors kept breaking. Just type in the word Avalanche in the search portion of this board and you'll find all kinds of information. Go to my library and you'll see mine. I love it and it makes a great tournament fishing platform to get around in.

Nope..can't give up my baby! That's been a good one so far. I bought it with 49K on it and just been usin' it to haul my rig. Pinstriped it to match the trailer....kinda' anal ain't it.
