Ok I have a 96 Tracker Pro Team and every time I get a livewell full of fish (which is rare) they knock that plug/overflow pipe out and drain the water. Now my switch on the console has gone bad and the timer will not work....here is what I want to do....I wan't to plug the livewell, replace the switch and put a water circulator in the well. I want the forward position of the switch to pull the water and the timer to run a circulator. Can this be done? How do I run the wires to the switch to get this setup? Also can I still get a factory switch to replace mine? Iam not the best in the world when it comes to wireing stuff, but this seems "do able". Anyway I thought I would ask the pros for some help.

Check out the picture from John Foster, and do a search on this site for "livewell" and you'll se a lot of discussion on this topic.

Get ahold of Ken Neeley or Craig to see about the switch. If they can't get it nobody can.

You need the overflow. Just for that reason. if you forget to turn off the pump filling the livewell it will fill the boat.

Depending on how the switch is wired will determine if you can run two seperate pumps off the same switch. if you can't, you can add an aditional switch/timer that Bass pro sells.

Cool that makes sense..How do I get ahold of Ken or Craig?? Thanks for the help guys.. It gives me something to do this winter plus my bloodhound has chewed my winch strap..trailer wires and transducer...I will have to fix those also.

If it was me, I'd "fix" the hound!! LOL My neighbor tied his dog to his trailer while he ran out for an errand and the dog chewed off his wiring harness and a brand new trailering cover.
