Livewell Pump Out Question

I am new to the site, I have been lurking for a while, great information!!



I have a new to me 2004 NX882SC and have a question about the livewell. I checked the older posts but could not find an answer to my question. It appears it should have the ability to pump water out of the livewell but I cannot find a valve to open/close. If there is one where would it be? Also, I had a 170DC and that system had a tube for the overflow, this one does not. Am I missing one? The drivers side has a hole with a screen and the other side has a hole with a plug. I'm not getting much from the manual.

The valve is the tube where the water enters the livewell, at least it is on my '05 882. You push it in or pull it out depending on what you want it to do.

On my 2004 Nitro you pull the 90deg fitting on the inside of the livewell then turn on the Recirc switch.

Thanks for the answers guys, I appreciate it. I was looking for something that resembled the valve in the manual.
