Livewell Help?

I have a "02 Tracker TV18 and am confused by the livewell. I have a valve with an open and closed position. Water gets in the livewell when either position is selected. When should you have the valve open and when should it be closed?

my livewell had the oppisite problem as water would not drain out. check that cable adjustment at the flow-rite valve. there is a screw holding down the cable which works the valve. if it loosens, the cable will slip in the bracket and not actually move the actuation lever of the valve.

I've got 2 seasons on my TV-18 and can probably answer some of your questions...also, Marke, MOFish, and Bruce all have the same boat...Pretty sure that everyone except MO has 90s as well!
