The drain for the livewell on my 1994 Nitro 2000 is stuck in the open position.. The livewells fill when the boat is in the water and drain as soon as I get on plane.

Is the control under the livewells?

How do I get to it?

me?

Scott you livewell valve is most likley in the bilge, at least is has been on every boat i have ever owned. On my 882 the valve is a flow-rite valve and it has a pump on it. what may be happening is the valve is stuck with debris or the cable fell off. look in the bilge area, it should be easy to find.

And don't be like me. I forgot to close the valve yesterday, and when I heard my three thumping around in there (after running down the lake), I quickly adjusted. Opps - almost screwed up. Of course, I've been known to induce 'operator error' once or twice before.

The bilge is where I expected it to be..... But it wasn't there..... At least, not where I could see it from above. And I couldn't see under the gas tank or the livewell.
