Have any of you seen or had any experience with "liquid electrical tape"?? My lights on my trailer are toast and I'm going to replace them. As I really don't want to run all new wiring, I'm looking for ways to make the new connections waterproof. I ran accross the above named product at Wally-world. The packaging says it's waterproof. All you do is make the connections and "paint" the stuff on.

I really want to go with the LED ligts, but I will probably go with the incapsulated bulbs.

TEE, have you ever heard of this stuff???

Thanks,

Steve

yes Steve, I use it all the time and the stuff works wonders dude. Buy it and use it man !!!!

I got similar stuff from Radio Shack. Its really thick compared to paint, but it does work. I've got it on all my connectors for my trailer and it looks like its still maintaining the waterproof seal around the soderless connectors. MUCH better than traditional electrical tape - albeit somewhat messier!

I use it anywhere water will be near my connections. Can be messy though.

I have not used it but, may consider it since I'm having light problems now:blink:

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try after all the good remarks.

When I rewired my trailer I used heat shrink tubing and then went over it with the liquid electrical tape. A friend of mine said it was overkill, but I think it was worth the effort. I have had zero problems with it since doing that.
