Lake Fork Weekend

OK guys here is the map to the house where Bob W. and his buddy from WI are staying.... I hope Bob can fish better than he makes maps... just kidden Bob! It looks pretty easy to find. I would like for everyone going to let me know what time Friday they will arrive so I can get Jeff Kirkwood to come over. I'm thinking about 8pm Friday night at Bob's house, let me know if that is good. Me, my son, and Father inlaw and Kenny L. and his dad,will be at Quail Hollow about 15 minutes away. If you cant read the map, just give me a call 214-402-8898 and I'll give you directions. As for what to bring....just bring something... or if you all would like we can make a list.... Remember you can't buy beer at Fork....

Correction to Kraig's statement...you CAN'T buy beer at Lake Fork! And for you Okies, don't buy it until you cross the Red River. NO THREE-TWO!!!



I might not be able to make it until late Friday night. I'm tentatively scheduled to be in St. Louis for the week and won't be back until then. Hope it gets cancelled...



Will pick up a sack of crawfish, though, and bring all the tools to kill and maim these little critters. Do NOT eat Bob's walleye without me...those who do will be boiled WITH the crawfish!!

I think me and a friend from the Dodge City area will be there. Give me an idea of something to bring to eat. We will be about 15 minutes the other side of Winnsboro. BTW - I saw the pic of Larry Jones' 14.6 he took off Fork on Saturday. That will give you a little incentive to come to Fork!!

As far as i know dad and I will be up there some time Friday, I took off work so how ever long it takes get to finished loaded, hooked up, and pulled out? It's about 21/2 hor drive plan on being at Quail Hollow about noon. Then set up camper and should be ready for a beer at 1 o'clock.



I'm bringing a couple of cookers, corn, taters, onions, oil, charcoal, chicken, smoked deer sausage, deer summer suasage. Ain't figured how much of it yet but but I'll have some of all of it. KENNY



If anyone has any other ideas or on something else or how much of something let me know.

Plan to be at Fork early afternoon on Friday. Don't worry, "no 3.2 beer!". Adam, don't forget that case of Lone Star! Look forward to seein everybody and huntin some of those hawgs. Congrats to you Texans for making the Final Four and good luck to the Longhorns (wow, that is really, really hard to type!) Our team ran out of gas or had too much gas and looked terrible against Syaracuse. The Big 12 Rocks!

Hey guys;



Sorry I haven't been on too much lately. I have been trying to get ready to leave on Thur. for Fork. It will be tough to fish for a whole week before all of you get there, but someone has to do it.



I gave Kraig the wrong phone number for the house, it is 903-473-1018. I don't know why the map would be hard to read. Any good yankee can make it out. I guess I did't put it in good ol southern words for ya al.



It will be real hard fishing and thinking about all you boys sitting at work all week but I'' manage. Guess I'll just fish and not think.



I think we got about 50 or so walleye filets, should be enough for all. Don't be too late Adam.
