Lake Anna Stripers

Had an opportunity to invite our sons (son / son-in-law / step-son) down to the Lake to go fishing for Stripers with Jim Hemby one of the great Striper guides on the lake. Jim had gone out at 0300 to catch bait fish (gizzard shad) so we could fish early. Hit the water at 0600 and had some luck with planer boards. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and caught stripers, catfish and one nice 5 1/2 pound largemouth.



The wife even caught a few and she had a good time as well. I only caught one striper but it was well worth only catching one. It went 15 lbs 15 oz. My largest off of Anna. A good time was had by all.

Jim - Try June and not May. Jim said that June was the best time. I have already booked for June.
