Through the generous hospitality of Bill in VA, I got a chance to play hookey from work and do some fishing with him on Lake Anna. Bill got this one among the islands down lake of Sturgeon Creek.
Don't worry - despite the blood, this guy was released alive and we didn't see hide nor hair of him while we fished that area. After I missed one, this nice little guy was nice enough not to shake my hook.
Bill got this one up in Sturgeon Creek.
I got a few pokes, but still have to learn to resist the urge to set the hook immediately when fishing senkos!! After a couple more smaller guys, nothing up lake and a sunny off of dike 2 we called it a day at about 2:30pm. Thanks again Bill!
