Got a new Tracker Tundra with a Merc 115 4-stroke and a Merc 9.9 4-stroke Big Foot. The transom is not straight across like a lund. The kicker motor rides higher than the 115. #1 Will the prop on the kicker be in the water deep enough? And #2 is there a way to attach a rod from the 115 to the kicker for steering, since the motors aren't level to each other? I saw a lund with a rod attached, looked great. But the motors ride level to each other, unlike my boat. I don't know about the e-z steer system, doesn't look solid to me. Any ideals will be greatly appreciated.

if the cavitation plate is even with the bottom of the hull, you should be ok.lower your motor down and see, thats it.just check to see if the prop is under the hull, thats it.

steering is easy also.get a product i think is called easysteer,it is a rod with 2 ball sockets on each end and is threaded for adjustment.you might have to bend it to get the proper clearances on things.the motor has a arm where the steering linkage connects should have a extra hole in it.hook the rod to it and adjust.
