I just put 2 pictures of my deck extension I built for my 93 dc2000. Its made out 1" square aluminum tubeing for the frame, the top (where the tackle trays sit) is .90 thousands aluminum & the top is made out of .125 aluminum. I know its a little more then needed but I wanted it to be strong & look nice. If anyone would like advice on how to build yours, please feel free to e-mail me. Here's the link to my pictures: go to my library Mark Kurtzner from New York. Mark

Mark,

Looks like you did a pretty good job! Nice boat too. Hopefully, Lake Champlain will be ready to fish in April!!!

It looks GREAT... Thinking about doing an extension on my 180FS, what did you use for the storage boxes? They look exceptional.

Sweet! I have thought about doing the same with my TF, but the driver side has a curve to it. Not sure how to tackle that. Mark you are coming to the rally right?

Its seems you guys know that may favorite lake is Champlain, (I had a great time there the whole month of October & the begining of November). 1st answer, the frame is welded together along w/the brace on the top lid, 2nd the drop in trays are (tritons) (I know but hey Nitro doesn't make them) & 3rd I wanted to make the rally, but that weekend is the Keith Budro memorial tournament on Champlain (Rutland county bassmasters) & on Sunday I will be on Lake George pre-fishing for my 1st team tournament the following weekend. If any of you guys would like to fish Champlain earlier I'm there from mid April to June 9th. Thanks for the responses, this weekend I'm putting knee braces (transome supports) in my boat, I run a 12" jackplate & w/the 200 back there I think I can use the added support. Mark

mark, how long have you been in rutland county bassmasters? the reason i ask is i do a lot of fishing with rich perrot who used to be in that club.i think it's been 4 or 5 years since he's been in that club though.last year he moved to moscow vt. other than e-mail i dont' see him much any more.stan

Mark, good luck on George. I have often done well there myself. Great lake. Watch out for the Minniehaha!
